Head of Information Security
The Head of Information Security serves as the process owner of all assurance activities related to the availability, integrity and confidentiality of customer, business partner, employee, and business information in compliance with the organization's information security policies. A key element of this role is working with executive management to determine acceptable levels of risk for the organization.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive enterprise information security and IT risk management program
Work with the software development team to manage risks
Develop an information security management framework
Develop an IT audit and compliance framework
Develop a Security Awareness Training program for employees
Interact with different parts of the company to ensure the consistent application of policies and standards across all technology projects, systems, and services
Lead the company's information security and IT compliance group
Partner with business stakeholders to raise awareness of risk management concerns
Assist with the overall business technology planning, providing a current knowledge and future vision of technology and systems
Requirements
Degree in business administration or a technology-related field
Information security management certification
At least six years of experience in risk management, information security, and IT jobs
Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as NIST's Cybersecurity Framework
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work asynchronously
High level of personal integrity
Familiarity with modern software development practices such as agile software development
Experience with Cloud computing
